In 2025, Silverwoods Resort had the privilege of hosting Richmond Football Club for its pre season camp, an important part of the Club’s preparation for the 2026 AFL season.
Our integrated resort environment provided the ideal setting for both performance and recovery. Players and staff had access to the championship Black Bull Golf Course, premium wellness facilities, quality dining, and purpose built function spaces designed for strategy and team alignment.
Richmond CEO Shane Dunne described Silverwoods Resort Yarrawonga as an outstanding venue that is professional, welcoming, and built for both performance and relaxation.
Defender Jayden Short also acknowledged the experience, noting that Silverwoods provided the ideal facilities for a high performance camp and that the team felt exceptionally well looked after throughout their stay.

January 2026 highlighted Silverwoods Resort’s capacity to host major events that attract national attention.
We proudly welcomed Blitz Golf to Black Bull, featuring Australian long driving champion Mat Stubbs, tour professionals, leading golf influencers, and cricket superstar Glenn Maxwell.
Soon after, our inaugural live music event After Dark brought acclaimed Australian artists Diesel and Jason Singh to the Resort. These events demonstrate our commitment to creating dynamic experiences that extend beyond golf and hospitality, contributing to the cultural and economic vibrancy of the region.
